Did GW just troll all of us with their Sisters of Battle release? The writing may have been on the (Facebook) wall the whole time. This is getting confusing.
This is getting confusing.
First off if you missed it last month at the end of Warhammer TV’s dust bins video the remark heard round the world was uttered:
Cool this isn’t released for months yet. <Long Pause> Plastic Sisters of Battle!
Now the lads in Nottingham had this to say on their Facebook page about the Sisters of Battle:
Confused now? So are we. Is this a takesie backsie? Should we listen to guys in bins in the future?
Well let’s take a look at what we do know about Sisters, that now appear to be spot on. Here’s the latest.
These rumors came out a around a week before we first saw pictures for codex Imperial Agents, and Traitors Legions on November 19th!
Previous Rumors
(now looking to be accurate from Nov 13th)
Sisters are coming but not in their own dedicated codex
Sisters are to be rolled into an imperial agents codex due for release late this year / early 2017. They’ll be with SoS, Custodes, Inquisition and most likely Assassins
Also there’s a Traitor Legions codex due in December as well

What I’ve heard from a very reliable source is that there is definitely a plastic canonness being released (whether that’s SOB or SOS is yet to be determined)…
An imperial agents codex is due to be released as well, wrapping up the recent SoS, Custodes, Inquisition, possibly assassins and it is in this where SoB release is romoured.So they will get a proper release but be included with other imperial minor factions. No idea on model releases yet.
There’s apparently a specific Traitor Legion codex coming out as well.
So we know a few days later that both these supplements are real and coming soon. Does that mean that this user is correct about the Sisters information as well?

Now all that excitement aside, read that last line:
Nine smaller factions… alongside your existing armies of the Imperium, from Grey Knight Terminators to Sisters..
Does that mean that you can use what is in here WITH those existing codex books OR they will be contained within, as they are referring to just singular squads of Sisters and Grey Knights?
Honestly it’s hard to tell from the context of this sentence what it means. So add a little salt to these rumors folks as there may not be Sisters and Grey Knights in this book, or according to the rumors from Nov 13 there will be?
