No-one will want to miss any of the big reveals at Gridiron and Glory, and if you’re a fan of Blood Bowl, Warhammer Underworlds, and Warcry, we’ll have something extra special for you. Warcry Previews
With the Gridiron & Glory Preview underway, it looks like each grand alliance is getting a little love in AoS for warcry, let’s check it out.
Each book takes a deep dive into Death, Destruction, Chaos, or Order, including background tables, lore, and loads more. If you’ve been waiting for your favourite Warhammer Age of Sigmar army to be fully represented in Warcry, these books are for you. Put your existing armies to use in quick, intense skirmish combat – or lead them in a campaign to achieve their own objectives against all odds.
Other than hinting at a potential release coming very very soon, this seems to be a decent size update. Getting each grand Alliance into warcry is no small task given just how much variety there is in each. New warbands for your current models, profiles, monsters, and quests to match…
With the scale of warcry growing, it looks like it’s becoming the AoS version of kill team.
New Warcry Release Announcement Tomorrow?

With Warcry: Catacombs coming real soon (spoiler, watch out for tomorrow’s Sunday Preview), there’s never been a better time to venture into the Everchosen’s domain.
Back in August, we had another Warcry Preview Online for Warcry: Catacombs. With the call out, it’s all but confirmed to be one of next week’s preorder releases. Here’s all that comes in the set:
This is a great way to start playing Warcry and includes the Core Book as well as a brand-new set of rules for fighting dungeon battles. Alongside these are a host of campaigns for your warbands to embark on, with suitably epic rewards.
After we get a good look at the whole scene, you notice you can get the entire arena, plus two full warbands for warcry! We saw the warbands before, but they are still relatively new, and definitely unique.

After taking a closer look at the leader of the Assassins, we can get a pretty good grasp of their themes and goals. Very cloak and dagger type appearances.
And on the other side, the Scions of the Flame. They have homecourt advantage (if there even is such a thing when talking about Chaos), well at least they match the dungeons under Eightpoints pretty seamlessly.
This is a great way to start playing Warcry and includes the Core Book as well as a brand-new set of rules for fighting dungeon battles. Alongside these are a host of campaigns for your warbands to embark on, with suitably epic rewards. Of course, all of your existing warbands can take to the Catacombs for a fresh challenge too – and the two new warbands can be used in your games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
The set comes with an easy to set up the board and some basic terrain to get you right into playing with your models.
If you flip it over you can also play a more traditional game of warcry in the Varanspire with some extra terrain. This side also nicely pairs more nicely with Khainite Shadowstalkers Warband.
Look for Warcry: Catacombs in the not too distant future…
