New Adeptus Titanicus Traitor Legios Book on the Way Soon!

Traitor Legios book

Adeptus Titanicus: Traitor Legios is stuffed with everything you need to choose a battlegroup that appeals to you. Whether you choose a named Traitor Titan Legion or Traitor Knight Household, or one of three general allegiance options, each comes with its own fearsome abilities.

With a whopping 16 Titan Legions, 12 Knight Households, and 19 Titan Maniples the book has plenty of established Legions and Houses to choose from.

With so much to choose from the book is sure to be packed full of rules and lore. One interesting thing, they also say this will be the first place to find rules for the new Warmaster Iconoclast Heavy Battle Titan. So if you want to play with the mini, looks like this is a must-get.

Let’s check out some of the rules previewed in the new book.

Traitor Legios Rules

Traitor Legios rulesTraitor Legios allows you to create some truly twisted abominations, starting with mutations that let you unleash the unfettered fury of the warp – perfect for softening up a tough target or finishing off a weakened one.

For 20 points this isn’t terrible as it can target a different unit and avoids all Void and Ion shields. Plus, this isn’t once per game, so if you can get it off a few times, it will be pretty nice.

Traitor Legios rules 2A Corrupted Titan unlocks alternate versions of the Awakened Machine Spirit and Personal Trait tables, which add extra flavour to your forces, revealing some of the more insidious effects of their infernal allegiance.

The Awakened Entity table includes this banger which is perfect if you like to leap into the thick of the fighting – no matter the cost.

Just make sure when you use this you don’t mess up and end up attacking your own units! Still, it’s super flavorful and could help you dish out that extra damage.

Traitor Legios rules 3The Corrupted Titan Personal Trait table also has a number of rather unsavoury options on it – not least is this one, in which the engine revels in tearing its enemies apart just to watch them suffer.

Adding one to all your hit rolls is super strong, just remember, it’s only against locations that have not suffered critical damage. But this makes the unit the perfect one to open fire.

Traitor Legios rules 4Imagine the look on your opponent’s face when your ostensibly mechanical Titan unleashes a torrent of bile from where the cockpit should be. Even better if that close-range blast causes an Engine Kill!

This is just a sweet little extra attack you can give to your titans to make them quite disgusting!

New Artwork

Traitor Legios book 2Just like Adeptus Titanicus: Loyalist Legios before it, this book is chock-a-block with detailed illustrations to show you examples of the livery for the various factions. Check out this absolute unit from Legio Interfector, the aptly named Murder Lords.

Overall, this looks to be quite the book. They don’t give a release date quite yet, but they do say soon. So hopefully, we see this before too long!
