The news just keeps on coming from New Year’s Open at Warhammer World. Chaos fans, get ready for the Codex: Thousand Sons, and their new model options!
Games Workshop made the announcement as part of their opening salvo of news to kick of the New Year’s Open Day. Let’s see what they had to say!
The Thousand Sons will be coming back to settle old hatreds thanks to their first ever(!) codex, packed with all the awesome stuff you’ve come to expect from this generation of books – Stratagems, psychic powers and much more besides.
…Some new units will be making their debut in Warhammer 40,000. Thanks to the new codex, you’ll be able to lead your Tzaangor into battle with the Tzaangor Shaman or support them with disc-riding Tzaangor Enlightened… For those of you willing to risk mutation or madness, you’ll also be able to enlist a massive Mutalith Vortex beast to your dazzling ensemble.
So, Thousand Sons will be getting its very first codex and new units to further add to the every changing possibilities of their forces. What is interesting is how they are porting over the Tzaangor, and Slaugherbrute (which makes the Mutalith Vortex beast) kits from the Age of Sigmar range to 40k.
There is also a teaser trailer for the Codex: Thousand Sons to get you even more excited.
