New Sons of Horus Terminator Praetor Incoming From Forge World!

horus-heresy-icon-logo-wal-hor-titleEven more Horus Heresy is on the way as the Sons of Horus Terminator Praetor has been revealed by GW- check it out!

If your Sons of Horus forces have been needing a little extra muscle, this might be right up your alley! Considering we’ve already seen the non-Terminator Praetor for a while, this follow-up only makes sense.

Games Workshop has been hitting up Horus Heresy pretty hard lately, with the release of the final Primarch imminent. Who knows, maybe that means the new starter set is actually coming soon!

Warhammer Community unveiled the new mini but didn’t give a release date quite yet. Let’s check out the latest mini coming to Horus Heresy!

New Sons of Horus Terminator Praetor Incoming!

Sons of Horus Terminator Praetor

He’s clad in the finest Cataphractii armour, covered in the Legion’s symbols and sigils, making him perfect to join Abaddon in the Justaerin or to lead a Sons of Horus army on his own. He’s armed with a combi-melta and power maul,* while Warhammer fans of a certain age will be delighted to see the return of back banners. As for those skulls, they’re not just a stylish accessory – it’s a Cthonian tradition to dip the skulls of your enemies in gold.

The model itself is pretty sweet even if it’s not the most dynamic posing. They managed to pack in a lot of detail into the model and it looks like it will be a fun painting challenge. Plus, considering the good guys got two Praetors, it only makes sense the Sons of Horus get two and one in terminator armor!

They say he will be available soon, but don’t give the exact date. Considering they’ve shown the mini, we expect within the next month.

Here’s the latest models that the Sons of Horus can use that Forge World releases as well:

Sons of Horus Legion Praetor: $38

Whether you prefer to assemble the miniature with the fearsome, impassive helmet or the head option that bears more than a passing resemblance to the Warmaster, his pose strikes a dynamic, powerful stance that should keep him stable when he swings that power fist. He’s also armed with a volkite pistol, so you know he’s not messing around at any distance.

We actually saw this mini go out by “accident” to customers. So, we’ve seen what this looks like for a while now, and some people already have it! Even though the posing isn’t super dynamic, it is really cool. It’s nice to actually have this come out after a few people have had them for months.

Legion Destroyers MKIV: $59

The noxious effects of their weapons are so corrosive that their armour is scalded and scorched over time, marking them out as the wrong ’uns that they are. On the battlefield, Destroyers are a close-ranged menace perfect for knocking out key enemy units with their rad missiles and phosphex bombs. Need to get right up in the enemy’s face as soon as possible? The squad can also be equipped with jump packs.

With so many guns, what is there not to like? The kit doesn’t come with jump packs, but you can equip them with the packs if you have some laying around.
