New Stormcast Eternals Warhammer AoS Pre-Order Revealed By Games Workshop

Games Workshop has just revealed its next lineup of new releases for the Stormcast Eternals, along with Citadel Hobby supplies and Black Library books, which will all be available for pre-order this week. From the lightning-infused Sigmarines to the hobby table, this pre-order has something for players and hobbyists alike. 

Here are all the details for these latest new Stormcast Eternal, Citadel Hobby supplies, and Black Library releases, which will be available to pre-order with your favorite retailers on Saturday, October 12th, around 1 p.m. EST in the States, with a release date of October 26th, 2024.

New Warhammer Age of Sigmar Pre-Orders

The latest Warhammer Age of Sigmar pre-orders have arrived, and they’re as epic as a Stormcast Thunderstrike! Whether you’re rallying your armies in Shyish or forging alliances in Aqshy, these new releases are here to elevate your game to legendary status.

Battletome: Stormcast Eternals, and Gamer’s Edition

The shining champions of Sigmar, the Stormcast Eternals, are prepared to confront the teeming Skaven hordes with updated rules, new miniatures, and more. This begins with the release of the Battletome: Stormcast Eternals, available in regular hardback and the new Gamer’s Edition.

This 152-page battletome contains Battle Traits, Battle Formations, Heroic Traits, Artefacts of Power, and Spell, Prayer, and Manifestation Lores. It includes a total of 60 warscrolls and full Spearhead rules. Furthermore, the battletome revises the Path to Glory campaign rules, allowing players to enhance characters and monitor their army’s advancement through narrative campaigns.

Iridan, chosen by Morrda, was tasked with the difficult responsibility of guiding fellow Stormcast Eternals to oblivion once they had been affected by the curse of Reforging. As a prominent figure in the Ruination Chamber and the Memorian Order, Iridan is known for being both a formidable warrior and a respected scholar. Additionally, he can be seen on the battlefield riding the noble Morrgryph Ariax. Furthermore, this multipart plastic kit can be assembled as a Lord-Vigilant on Morrgryph and equipped with a Hallowed Glaive.

Tornus, previously a powerful champion of Chaos aligned with the Plague God Nurgle, met his end at the hands of the Celestant Prime. However, his soul found redemption in Sigmar’s realm. Now, reborn and committed to eradicating his former allies from the Mortal Realms, Tornus has taken on the role of a Knight-Azyros, serving as a beacon for others in the Ruination Chamber. This new multi-part plastic kit offers the option to assemble Tornus as a regular Knight-Azyros, equipped with either a sword or hallowed greatspear.

The Lords-Celestant are highly skilled war leaders, known for their strategic acumen and exceptional combat abilities that consistently lead the Warrior Chambers to triumph. This updated version of the classic Stormcast Eternals hero offers a range of weapon choices, all with the same in-game weapon profile, providing versatility for the Lord Celestant to choose the armament that best fits their style.

The Lord-Relictor is a key figure as a high priest of Sigmar and a formidable hero. This updated version of the traditional character now includes the remains of a respected human saint and is able to guide the souls of fallen allies to their next Reforging while providing support to struggling companions and dealing with enemies using the powerful energies of Azyr.

The Lord-Terminos wields a massive axe that he uses to vanquish his foes, but he also fulfills a different role by putting an end to the lives of Stormcast Eternals whose time has come. These brave souls willingly step forward to have their souls extinguished, and the Lord-Terminos carries out this solemn task with quiet reverence.

The Stormstrike Palladors are considered the top heavy cavalry of the Warrior Chamber. They are skilled in delivering powerful charges and engaging in extended melee combat using their beak and blade. This group of three Palladors includes the necessary components to outfit them as a Champion, Musician, and Standard Bearer. Additionally, they can be equipped with lances or blades to bolster a larger unit.

The Liberators, who form the rank and file of Sigmar’s golden legions, are no less heroic than any other members of their group. This recent version of the traditional Warrior Chamber unit comes with newly crafted Thunderstrike Armor, and each set of 10 miniatures can be customized with either hammers and shields or twin hammers. Initially introduced in the Skaventide boxed set, they are now being offered individually for the first time.

The winged Prosecutors, once members of the Warrior Chamber but now part of the Ruination Chamber due to their frequent entanglements in the Cursed Skies, are known for their agility and fierceness. They are skilled in throwing Stormcall javelins with remarkable precision and attacking enemy forces with the power of a thunderbolt. Originally featured in the Skaventide boxed set, they are now being offered as standalone figures for the first time.

The Reclusians, fighters of the Ruination Chambers, possess souls that have been toughened by lightning, making them highly resistant to the corrupting influence of Chaos and other dark magics. They are skilled combatants, comparable to the top heroes of other groups. This new multi-part version of the miniatures, originally featured in the Skaventide boxed set, allows for the choice between wielding axes or maces in battle.

The Lord-Imperatant and Knight-Arcanum, initially featured in the Dominion boxed set, are now available as standalone releases for the first time. They bring significant strategic abilities and formidable magic to the Stormcast Eternals. The Lord-Imperatant is accompanied by a loyal Gryph-hound, and both models offer the choice of wearing helmets or not.

The trio of Knights-Arcanum known as the Stormcoven have recently been added to the main Stormcast Eternals roster. Their special spell enables them to either bless allied units with the ability to strike first or curse enemies with the ability to strike last. This makes them a vital supporting unit for elite damage-dealers in combat. Originally featured as a unique warband in Warhammer: Underworlds, they have now been reintroduced as an unnamed unit.

The Stormreach Portals are the initial faction terrain piece for the Stormcast Eternals. They are smaller versions of the crackling Star Bridges that catapult Sigmar’s warriors into battle from Azyr. This terrain piece is not just a visually stunning addition to your collection; it also possesses the unique ability called “Step into the Storm,” which allows entire units of Stormcasts to be teleported far across the battlefield to reach distant objectives.

The set comprises 66 quick reference cards containing all the warscrolls from Battletome: Stormcast Eternals and those required for the Vigilant Brotherhood Spearhead. Additionally, it includes 16 royal blue dice with bright white pips and the twin-tailed comet logo of the Stormcast Eternals on the six face.

When an opposing force has nearly invincible lightning-infused demigods, it’s necessary to deploy heavy artillery. The Skryre Clan offers just the right weapons, recently introduced in the Skaventide boxed set. The Ratling Warpblaster is an unstable yet incredibly deadly war machine, posing a threat to both its operators and its targets. When facing the Stormcast Eternals and needing to take down five of them at once, there’s no alternative to this weapon.

New Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Warcry Pre-Orders

The latest Warcry pre-order releases are here, and these new additions promise to bring fresh excitement and intense skirmish battles to your tabletop. The researchers at the Citadel labs have improved the traditional silicon paint palette by giving it the appearance of a servo-skull. This enhanced palette features numerous paint wells and is flexible, allowing for easy removal of dried paint remnants.

Stormvault Combat Case

The Stormvault Combat Case is a larger version of the Stormvault Skirmish Case, designed to securely hold and protect miniatures with its sturdy silicon grip. It uses soft silicon bristles to absorb impacts and safely hold miniatures of various sizes in place without the risk of snagging, even with pointy spears, blades, and horns. This new case is twice the size of the Skirmish Case and can accommodate approximately 27 to 30 miniatures mounted on 32mm bases.
