More 8th Edition rules leaks are going around and this time we have been given a nice sample of the Sisters of Battle rules.
These rules appeared on Imgur and give us an idea of how the Sisters will perform in 8th Edition.
One important thing to realize is that the Sisters will be split into two parts: Adeptus Ministorum and Adepta Sororitas. Units will have “Order” keywords as well.
Celestine and Canoness
What Sisters of Battle leak would it be if Celestine was not shown. With the Acts of Faith, Celestine’s “Saintly Blessings” can have a unit within 6″ of her roll another Act of Faith in the same turn.
Army List
The Acts of Faith can only be done once per turn if you succeed on D6 roll of 2+. Another Act can be done if a skill is used, such as Celestine’s “Saintly Blessings”. Initial thoughts are mixed on the Acts of Faith as they do not appear to be balanced and with Divine Guidance more than likely being the Act to use.
Adeptus Ministorum Units
The Crusaders can use Acts of Faiths on top of other abilities while other units have the Zealots option which is “re-roll failed to hit rolls in a turn which the unit charged, made a heroic intervention or was charged by an enemy unit“.
This was a nice rules leak for Sisters of Battle fans out there, we’re finally getting to see more than what Games Workshop wants us to see.
