1st Place: Aiden Smalley – Death Guard

Death Guard Wal Hor Nurgle Death Guard Space Marine Heroes 3 SPOTTED!

Aiden Smalley 1

Aiden’s single detachment of Death guard is a battalion led by a Daemon Prince and a Malignant Plaguecaster. The DP is and always has been a great melee threat, while the Plaguecaster is the go-to for psychic support thanks to the extra power compared to a normal sorcerer.

Troops bring in a total of 20 Plague Marines, with 3 cleavers and 3 flails, which are great melee weapons, but in general, these are for a solid advancing force and some tough bodies that can sit on objectives.

Aiden Smalley 2

Elites bring in a 10-man blob of Blightlord Terminators, with 2 Balesword and Reaper Autocannons for chaff clearing. These are extremely durable and can pack a punch in melee and from range even if you ignore the two special loadouts. There is also a Contemptor dread with missiles and Volkite for a mix of some AP and chaff clearing.

A Tallyman is a cheap support piece, while 6 Deathshroud help protects the characters in the list while being great melee threats.

Fast Attacks bring in a single Chaos Spawn most likely just to round out points with a cheap body.

Aiden Smalley 3

Finally closing out the list are two rhinos to help bring some of the troops to the front lines making them last even longer thanks to the extra durability in the first few turns.
