Black Hawk Down- Scout Speeder Storm

By Rob Baer | November 17th, 2011 | Categories: Conversion Corner, Conversions, Jkin, Space Marines, Warhammer 40k

So Jkin started up a Space Marines Scout recon army for our 500 point Flash League at the shop.

One of the centerpieces of the army is this scout insertion speeder, a’la Black Hawk down.
He converted this vehicle up to represent the it’s ability to transport scouts into position, and have something characterful in the army itself.
Of course since it would be operating behind enemy lines, there is a ton of ammunition and gear stowed about. The scouts even remembered to bring a rocket launcher as well, just to be on the safe side.
Jkin used small 1/16″ magnets to secure the two passengers to their seats.
Check out the Three Sixty Below (note the silenced bolt gun as well).

More on Project: Scouts soon, in the mean time you can enjoy some of Jkin’s other work here. -MBG
