Disposable Capacitors has extended the reach of blue attack dice in the Armada world. It has brought new life to Victory builds, and now it will benefit the Raider. The Raider II has 3 blue die in its for ward arc, 4 if you concentrate fire. But getting into range can make it vulnerable to return fire. With Disposable Capacitors, you can fire at an enemy at long range and weather the return fire much better with your Evades and Brace than by being at medium range.
Since we are tossing a handful of blue dice, SW-7s make sure that what we throw sticks. Every die face has damage potential with blue dice and SW-7s, and all at long range for enemy ships.
Since the Raider II is not focused on ordnance or black die advantage, Ordnance Experts can get switched out with Gunnery Team. This can make your Disposable Capacitors stretch their use by being able to fire on 2 different enemy ships at long range. $ blue dice with guaranteed damage on 2 enemy ships will add up in a hurry.
