The Arquitens may not be the most maneuverable Imperial ship, but it still has moves that can throw off the Rebels. Director Krennic will motivate the crew!
The Arquitens is through playing it safe, and will be cranking its throttle up to the maximum of 3! This will give it a decent speed to catch those Rebel ships and can take the most advantage of its long-range red dice. It’s navigational chart is lacking at speed 3 with only 2 clicks allowed, so its best to equip a Support Team.
A Nav Team will help the Arquitens become more flexible as the battle develops. This upgrade gives the Arquitens the ability to use Nav tokens to either increase/ decrease speed by 1 or increase 1 yaw value by 1. This can give the Arquitens some more manageable navigational properties to thwart the Rebels. Now that the navigational aspects are covered, let’s dive into the damage output.
Director Krennic is on board the Arquitens, improving its ability to concentrate fire. As a concentrate fire command, while you are attacking at medium-long range, if you spent a concentrate fire dial you may also re-roll any number of red dice in your attack pool. If you spent a concentrate fire token, you may also re-roll up to 2 red dice in your pool. This increases the red dice damage pool of the Arquitens to up to the max, getting re-rolls for each shot whenever you concentrate fire.
With that level of red dice manipulation, it’s best to go with a turbolaser that can overwhelm enemy defenses. Heavy Turbolaser Turrets forces your opponent to think twice about using his Brace. While attacking, the Brace defense effect cannot reduce damage by more than 1 unless it is the only defense token spent during the attack. This can make your opponent forgo using his Brace to prepare for another attack, allowing your red dice to break through their shields with ease!
