Which Chaos Daemons are the best in Warhammer 40k? Come see why we like Nurgle in this Army Hobby Showcase for 8th Edition.
Nurgle unleashes his gifts upon the battlefield once more, showing a different side to his pestilent gifts through flies and gore.
The Wobbly Modelers have done it again, painting up a fantastic Nurgle army. Take a look at this fantastic paint job and army composition by checking out this quick Showcase and watching the video below!
Nurgle Daemons Are The Best: 40k Showcase
This Nurgle army features Chaos Space Marines and Nurgle Daemons. The Chaos Space Marines detachment features converted Daemon princes, complete with fly wings. Along with that, there are Plague Bearers, Nurglings, a custom Scrivner, Heralds, Daemon Princes, and a maximum nine fly unit.
Each unit of Nurglings also has unit markings to differentiate them. Each model is based on Corpse Field bases from Secret Weapon Miniatures, complete with water effects for a wet, gory appearance.
Overall, this is painted to the Wobbly standard, the middle tier of their options.
List-wise, the Chaos Space Marines fill out a Supreme Command Detachment with three Daemon Princes, accessing the psychic power from Chaos Space Marines pre-FAQ.
The Daemons fill out two battalions with six HQ’s: Scrivner, Poxbringer, and Daemon Princes. With nine flies, Poxwalkers, and Nurglings, this army does not have much in terms of AP but the damage output is significant. This army also plays as a high-surviving army with Feel No Pain and survivability.
Overall, this army is clean and disgusting at the same time…which is a great compliment for Nurgle! These daemons look fantastic on the table and will continue to be amazing.
