This Airbrush is tiny but mighty. Check out our review of the GSI Creos PS 770 .18 mm Airbrush that paints all the details!
Spraygunner is a recognizable name in the Hobby Product world; mostly known for airbrushes and compressors. Rob got his hands on one of their most recent airbrushes. Rumor has it, this is a more generic version of the very high-end Iwata Custom Micron. Let see what his impression is!

Right out of the gate we see an exploded view. This is a useful glimpse into the potential features and how we can clean it when the time comes. One important detail we found in this diagram is the nozzle width. It’s almost half the size of the popular Iwata Eclipse. That means when you use this airbrush you’ll need to water down your paints more than you’re used to doing.
A quick spray test also gives us an idea of how precise you can be. For the dots, an Eclipse would only really do the 4th dot and up comfortably, but this airbrush can go all the way down to the smallest.
To test precision, Rob wanted to try to fix this small bit of grey spillover on his knight armor panel with the spray gun.
Not only did he do it, but he did it in seconds. The precision here can’t be understated. You will be able to paint stuff with this airbrush you simply can’t do with other airbrushes.
He also gives us a quick run-down on the post-use cleaning process. It’s pretty standard and simple. Start with a water flush, then lightly scrub outwards to clean the top of the pot. Rinse one more time. Then add water to the pot and backflush the rest out. This airbrush does come with a small cap that makes backflushing much easier and way more convenient.
But you don’t need something like this airbrush to start out with, the Harder & Steenbeck Ultra is much cheaper and very easy to use.
That’s it for this one! If you are curious about Rob’s in-depth break-down and opinions, check out the video below! Patreon supporters of Spikey Bits get models like this each month shipped to them.
