We unbox and build The Sabre Strike Tank one of the Tiniest Space Marine Tanks ever, and learn where the gotchas are.
Rob did mention right away that he doesn’t play Horus Heresy regularly so he can’t speak on the stats of the tank on the tabletop. He can, however, talk about the design and all the other aspects of it, so let’s hear it!
Tiniest Space Marine Tank: Forge World Sabre Unbox & Build
Right away we see that the tank comes in the standard Forge World Packaging.
It also comes with a full-color instruction manual and Rob reminds us it didn’t use to. It’s always nice when a company puts in the extra effort for things that may seem extra, like a full-color instruction manual. Forge Worlds’ mother company, Games Workshop, doesn’t even do that most of the time TBH.
As everything is laid out, we can really get a taste of how small this tank is! It’s definitely going to be about the size of a rhino!
Moving onto assembly we can see the size and details on this tank. Even with its size, it is armed to the teeth! With two hunter missiles on each side plus two choice weapons on the front and top, this guy isn’t afraid of going in loud.
If we compare it to a rhino, we can see right away that it is about the same size, but ever so slightly shorter and once again has way more weapons.
Another comparison Rob made was with the Sicaran. We can see the similarities practically leaping at us. The front half of the chassis is almost a mirror copy. The base design is very similar, however, being significantly smaller of course.
And that does it for this one! Be sure to watch the video below for Rob’s full breakdown! Patreon supporters of Spikey Bits get models like this each month shipped to them.
