Tyranids Never Looked So Good: Lord of Sorrows Unbox

By Tim Roberts | December 16th, 2018 | Categories: Creature Caster, Product Review, Videos

Creature Caster’s new Lord of Sorrows model is here, this time in a form that never looked so good to use for Chaos or Tyranids.

The hobby maniacs at Creature Caster make some of the best quality resin miniatures in the market today and their Lord of Sorrows is no exception.

Let’s take a closer look and see what it takes to get this model ready for the tabletop.

Lord of Sorrows$59.00

The Lord of Sorrows stands on a custom 60mm base. He measures 12.7 cm from the bottom of his base to the top of his back spikes. Model is unassembled and unpainted. Intended for ages 14+

Creature Caster’s Lord of Sorrows looks like a cross between a Daemon of Chaos and a Tyranid Hive Tyrant. This miniature is an amazing looking work of art that would look great on the tabletop and in your display case. Screenshot_269

The Lord of Sorrows comes with 38 pieces but don’t let that intimidate you, as this miniature has many different options when it comes to builds.

You can choose between two different heads, two weapon options, and you may choose between scything talons or human-like hands for your second set of arms. So in short, there are quite a few different possibilities when it comes to customization with this model.

Creature Caster backs a lot of detail into every nook and cranny on their miniatures, and this miniature may rival their previous release the Queen of Ecstasy in quality, detail, and value.

Here he is folks ready for his close up. The Lord of Sorrows looks great with his dynamic “come at me bro” pose. Here he is beside a Games Workshop Daemon Prince for one of our size comparisons.

As always keep those hobby muscles strong, stay in the trenches, and check out our unboxing and build video below!
