Is it Worth It?

Of the newer CPs we’ve seen, this is actually on the higher end of value. Plus, you get a pretty interesting and elite force. However… if you grab the army box as well, you double up on the Infractors and the Lord Exultant.

If you want some of the Flawless Blades and load up on more infantry, this is a great box, as you basically get a box of Flawless Blades for free! Plus, while some of the newer 10th Edition Combat Patrols have been underwhelming (compared to 9th edition boxes), this one has more value than the previous few we’ve seen.

How Many Points Is This?

So, you’re wondering how many points the Emperor’s Children Combat Patrol box racks up, eh? Well, in Warhammer 40k 10th edition, this box hits with about 500 points (at least in our rough estimates; it could change once the codex comes out). But, as you know, the tides of the Grimdark universe are ever-shifting, and with the latest points updates, that number could quickly fluctuate.

One minute, you’re ready to attack the Imperium, and the next, you’re recalculating your list because the points gods have decided to have some fun.

Emperor’s Children Combat Patrol Contents & Description

Flawless BladesThe Callous Blades is the ultimate combat force, loaded with 17 miniatures ready to storm the battlefield and obliterate anything in their path. If your enemies thought they could hold the line, they’re in for a rude awakening. Melee mode: activate!

Lords Exultant: Tactical Sadists

Lords ExultantThese leaders take sadism to the next level. With finely honed combat skills and a knack for crafting intricate battle plans, they wield both their weapons and minds with precision. If your style leans toward calculated cruelty, the Lords Exultant will feel right at home.

Infractors and Tormentors: Versatile Warriors

TormentorsThe line troops of the Emperor’s Children come in two flavors. Infractors are thrill-seeking close-combat experts, while Tormentors focus on ranged combat with their highly ornate boltguns. Both options let you tailor your army’s playstyle while keeping the Slaaneshi aesthetic front and center.

Flawless Blades: Melee Perfection

For players who thrive in close combat, the Flawless Blades are pure chaos. Their mastery with dueling sabres, enhanced by combat stimms and psychoactive substances, makes them a whirlwind of adrenaline-fueled destruction.

They’re the embodiment of what happens when vanity meets violence. Legion champions who fully embrace the excitement of close combat transform into Flawless Blades, a shadowy counterpart to the esteemed Palatine Blades of the Great Crusade.

Well, you have a lot of the melee heavy hitters with this box, but you still need some tanks to give fire support and of course, you want to grab a bunch of Noise Marines to cover these guys so they can get into battle. So, while this box is a great starting point, it is only 500ish points, meaning you’ll still have the vast majority of your army to collect.

Lastly, you’ll probably want Lucius or Fulgrim to lead your army because they both look so amazing!

Final Thoughts on the Emperor’s Children Combat Patrol

If you’re looking to amp up your Warhammer 40k experience, the Emperor’s Children Combat Patrol is your ticket to chaos glory. With a solid lineup of miniatures, you’ll be charging into battle with confidence and style. Let’s be honest: who doesn’t want a squad of badass characters and shiny new units in their collection? Plus, the savings are a sweet bonus!
