A Grim Display of Firepower: Warzone Atlanta Army Showcase

By Pop Goes The Monkey

grim firepower 1Looking at this Iron Warriors list that recruited the help of a few ghastly Knights, these boys rolled out onto the table flexing some warp-fueled firepower.

grim firepower 2The Sicaran is a bit of a glass cannon in 8th edition. Being able to zip up the board faster than most bikes, it is loaded with lascannon/autocannon firepower. But check out the paint job. Between the weathering on the tracks and the faded hazard stripes, this tank looks like it’s been on the frontlines for a hot minute.

grim firepower 4What looks like potential Obliterator conversions, these two toted some firepower with some twisted body modifications true to form for the Iron Warriors.

Of course, every list needs some cheap objective grabbers. And while these guys are mainly T4 chaff, they all have crisp hazard stripes and tactical unit symbols!

grim firepower 3Looking at the Knights, these haunted war machines had warp spirits rising out of the hull with some early signs of Nurgle’s rot appearing on the armor.

grim firepower 7While the green and red paint combo looks great, check out the basing detail that this guy is standing on. It looks like he’s marching right over an old cemetery and stirring up the spirits.

grim firepower 6And lastly, the other Knights twin brother walked with him into battle flexing a gatling and thermal cannon. Check out all the smaller details on this body. From skulls to inscriptions on the armor plates, these guys could be centerpieces in their own right.
