And if you were planning on attending our Bringing Hobby Back Doubles Event, here is a preview of how it will work:

Under the Bringing The Hobby Back format, each player can achieve a maximum of 100 points. Battlepoints account for 50% of a player’s score. Army Composition (Comp) accounts for 18%. Theme for 6%, Painting for 14%, and Preferred Opponent for 12%.
Our doubles tournament allows each player to bring 1000 point force, which you will pair with another player to form a 2000 point team. Specific army composition rules will follow in the coming weeks, but the general guideline is that nearly everything is legal. But here’s the rub, your team’s army composition score is judged by your opponents

You can get more information on the event by downloading our informarion guide for the 2017 event!

Over the past fourteen years, AdeptiCon has continually evolved in order to accommodate the myriad of options and events now offered by the convention. Heading into AdeptiCon 2017, we have finally outgrown our original convention model for such staples as registration and the swag bag.

In order to make things more affordable and simplify the registration process, AdeptiCon is happy to announce that we have done away will all badge variants and that the base price for four days at the best miniature wargaming convention on the planet (maybe even the whole system) is now $30.00 USD!

The AdeptiCon 2017 Weekend Badge allows you access to the convention for all four days, the ability to register for all events at AdeptiCon 2017, open gaming, bitz trading, one entry per category in the Crystal Brush Painting Competition, and the ability to check out board games from the AdeptiCon Librarium (Board Game Library).

But what about the swag?! To alleviate particular issues with the registration process, The Weekend Badge will no longer automatically come with a swag bag – however you will be able to upgrade your badge during the registration process. Thanks in large part to the generosity of our sponsors, this will allow us to offer these upgrades to more attendees than ever before, and while we cannot guarantee that each swag bag will be identical, we will do our best to make each swag bag as equitable as possible.
Only three weeks left until you can register for Adepticon 2017!
