An Affinity for Pain: Iron Hands Army Showcase

affinity for pain walIron Hands are still remaining the top Space Marine Chapter to play after multiple releases. Check out what makes this army tick!

Warzone Atlanta brought some amazing armies under one roof to roll some dice. With competition high, it’s no surprise that we saw some Iron Hands lists making fleshy armies wish they had more armor to protect them. Check out this beautiful force lead by the Iron Daddy himself.

Iron Hands Army Showcase

We move fast taking pictures at events. If this is your army and would like credit for it, email us at Support@Spikeybits.com

affinity for pain 1Iron Hands have an affinity for pain. From chopping limbs off and replacing it with metal. To bearing the weight of the dead Primarch, these guys can take the pain and dish it right back out.

affinity for pain 2Being able to ignore heavy, reroll 1’s and have a 6+++ FNP, Warsuits are an underrated option for the army. And just look how cool this one is modeled.

affinity for pain 3Of course, Chaplains and Thunderfires are too much value to pass up in most lists.

affinity for pain 4To accompany the Warsuit starting the game mid-field, Scouts rocking the classic iron hands black were brought. While Scouts are just weaker Space Marines, the 6+++ FNP makes them a bit more durable than most others might realize.

affinity for pain 5Keeping the theme of Iron Hands “good stuff” Flyers loaded with heavy weapons to proc the reroll of 1’s were tasked with zipping up the board and harassing scary units that might be hard to get to in the later turns.

affinity for pain 6And looking at the Repulsor Executioner, from a detailed edge highlight to paint weathering on the front of the chassis, this tank looks like it’s been in the thick of it for a hot minute. Great job slamming out an Iron Hands army that looks great on the tabletop!
