We’ve got a solid GW rumor engine today that is clearly a quiver filled with arrows, fresh to the fight. Check this out.
Warhammer Community just unveiled another rumor engine and this time it’s a quiver full of arrows. Check out the details of this new bit that looks to be on the way for 40k or AoS.
Arrows In Quiver: New GW Rumor Engine
Similar to last week’s rumor engine, you can tell what it is in the image pretty much instantly. The real question is who or what does it belong to? Looking at the image we see some hair or probably a plume from a helmet. The arrows are also pretty intricately designed. Also that arrow on the far left… it kind of resembles Sigmar’s Comet… but maybe that’s going a little too far into it.
Either way, I think it’s safe to say it’s in the Age of Sigmar and is more than likely a race that cares about craftsmanship (which tends to be Order).
Well well well, would you look at that, an order race that cares about craftsmanship, literally created and managed by Sigmar, and also conveniently has a plume on their helmet!
I might get burned by GW when we finally see this bits model, but I’ve never been more confident about a rumor engine! This is almost certainly a Stormcast Eternals model. Whether it is a character or a new unit, who knows. Most of the ranged Stormcast units use crossbows, so this would a nice addition to beef up the lineup variety.
Of course, it could be something else too at the end of the day…
