Yet another year has gone by since our forefathers here in the United States penned their revolution against British oppression.
We’ll all be celebrating in the usual manner (at least here in America) with cookouts and such into the late evening hours when the fireworks go off.
Declare Your Gaming Independence: Happy 4th of July
In the gaming world, a lot of similarities can still be drawn to what is happening currently, with the actions of our forefathers long ago. Are you playing new games now, and getting away from that old European flavor?
Six years ago Age of Sigmar burst onto the scene, and just got the third edition of their rules amid some controversy from Store Owners and hobbyists alike who just seem to be wanting rules instead of a $200 “limited edition” starter…
Plus of course, one year ago we had what may be the most successful reboot of Warhammer 40k yet, in 9th Edition as Games Workshop has arguably closed and surpassed the gap with its competitors like Asmodee Games.
Marvel Crisis Protocol seems to be gaining ground as Star Wars Legion,X-Wing 2.0 are all doing well sales-wise in stores for Asmodee now that they are all under the Atomic Mass Games studio.
Plus there are a ton more games out there to play, with many many new ones appearing each month, all vying for your hobby dollars!
