Let the Blood Flow: Den of Imagination Blood Angels Showcase
This army was first painted well before Primaris were ever a thing in 40k. So as we go through this army, you’ll notice that there are a lot more bodies than what a normal Blood Angels army might run on the tabletops today.
But on that note, most of the Blood Angel’s star units aren’t even Primaris anyway. So let’s dig into what the Sons of Sanguinius have to offer.
Starting off, we’ve got a dope shining effect coming from the headlights of Razorbacks to light up the ground for the Death Company and some Dreadnoughts to race ahead. Some Sternguard Vets with their brutal bolters are also seen with some crisp gold helmets.
Speaking of gold, we’ve got the Sanguinor leading the charge on the 40k BA all-stars, the Sanguinary Guard. With the Stratagem support that came out of Blood of Baal, these dudes are no joke. Especially if you use them in conjunction with a Death Company wrecking ball squad to clear screens.
The ever-annoying TH/SS Terminator Squad is especially deadly in a Blood Angels list with the +1 to charge and wound rolls. Although there’s been a growing Primaris trend, these dudes are still a nice option for the Brothers of Baal.
Now would you believe that Den of Imagination can do some free-hand work like nobody’s business? What looks as crisp as a normal stencil, these Death Company logos are actually all done by hand…But you haven’t seen anything yet.
Look at this masterpiece on the back of a Land Raider. Sanguinius and Horus have been painted with the outcome the Blood Angels really wish they could’ve had- where Sanguinius killed off Horus before anything got out of hand.
The army is a collection that any Blood Angels fan would love to look at. If you’re wanting to see even more, press play on the full showcase from Den of Imagination on YouTube below.
