Following the normal trend, multiple retailers have already confirmed the prices of what GW will be dropping on the shelves next. If you weren’t sure what you were going to spend your hobby $$$ on, check out what is on the way to store shelves February 9th, 2019!
Genestealer Cult Codex $40
With the whole army getting a truckload of new units as well as the rework of the ambush mechanic, this book is going to be paramount for any Cult player.
GSC Datacards $15
To keep track of your Stratagems, Psychic Powers, etc, Datacards make everything easier. You won’t have to thumb through your book every few minutes.
GSC Clamavus $25
To their fellow gene-sect members, the Clamavus is the spreader of truth – a hero who broadcasts the emancipatory creed of the cult far and wide. They use a scrambler array to thwart the enemy’s battleplans, all the while inspiring their kin with booming oratory amplified by their suit’s integrated proclamator hailer.
GSC Locus $25
These mysterious, austere characters serve as bodyguards to their gene-sect’s Magus or other senior cult leaders. They are poised to strike at a moment’s notice should any threat to their master reveal itself, their actions so sudden and swift that their intended target often has little or no warning as to the Locus’ intervention – usually with terminal consequences.
GSC Magus $25
As far as we know, the female Magus is an un-named model. If that’s true, she will probably be exactly like the pre-existing Magus. Just with a new cosmetic look.
GSC Nexos $25
We haven’t seen any official rules previews on how the characters work. However, we can guess that the Nexos will have something to do with the new Ambush Blip System.
GSC Sanctus $25
The Sanctus is another new model we’ve seen previewed recently. He looks to solely be melee which means he’ll have to get in close. We’re hoping he will have some way to get around screens to go right for the throat of key characters.
GSC Atalan jackals $55
Atalan Jackals are the new unit that a lot of people are expecting to do work on the table. They’re fast and come with some of the coolest kits we’ve seen GW make in a while. The way the picture looks, it’ll be a squad of five with an ATV.
GSC Atalan Jackal Alphus $35
This is the character version of the Atalan Jackal. She’s armed with a rugged-looking sniper rifle and some kind of dagger. Judging by her fast movement and main weapon, she’ll probably be one of the characters you can keep on an objective and force your opponent’s characters to keep their heads down.
Tectonic Fragdrill $60
We don’t exactly know what this will do on the table. But you better believe the GSC got their hands on one and intend to use it. -Maybe this will help units deepstrike in closer.
GSC Dice Set $30
Roll in style showing off the Genestealer Cults true colors! Just hope you don’t get any of their symbols when you roll.
Primarchs Corax Lord of Shadows Hardback Book: $19
A hardback edition of Guy Haley’s novel about the enigmatic primarch of the Raven Guard. During the Great Crusade, it falls to the Corax to humble the immense void-cities of the Carinae. Determined to bring these worlds into compliance, he unleashes the might of his Legion and a massive war host of the Imperial Army. But the lords of Carinae are well defended and without remorse.
Also Available Direct Are:
Genestealer Cults: Blood Brothers $40
This handy combined set features 10 Cadian Shock Troops, a 2-man Cadian heavy weapon team, and a Genestealer Cults Upgrade Frame with which to subvert them to your cause.
Codex Genestealer Cults Collector’s Edition $80
The Collector’s Edition includes the same content as the standard codex but is made with a soft-touch cover with artwork on front and back, black page edges and a black ribbon bookmark.
Codex Genestealer Cults Limited Edition $250
…the Limited Edition is designed to resemble a defaced Imperial book and is presented in a specially designed box containing exclusive gaming accessories.
And there you have it. It looks like next week’s big release is all on the Cult. Will you be starting your own fighting force of GSC? What units do you think you’re going to double down on when the codex hits? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
