Since November 2020, Games Workshop has been hooking it up with free Warhammer miniatures and promos for collectible coins via their Warhammer mini-of-the-month program. New players to their games can also score a free Stormcast or Space Marine model on their first trip into the store.

Now we know the latest collectible Warhammer coin promo and a free GW miniature for the month. To get the coin, you gotta spend $100, but if you don’t have the budget right now, they do these promos pretty much every month, and the coins usually tie into the latest releases. Got at least six coins? Score yourself a snazzy, free binder to keep them safe. If this month’s coin isn’t for you, don’t miss out on all the previous collectible coins Games Workshop has put out here in our checklist roundup.

Free Warhammer Miniature (Mini) of the Month: October 2024

Coin Promotion mini of the month Warhammer free miniature

Starting October 5th, it’s back into the wild Mortal Realms to recruit a fierce Chaos Warrior in honor of GW’s Chaos-themed Warhammer Day. Sure, it’s Warhammer Age of Sigmar, but Chaos still reigns supreme across most of the eight realms. Decked out in blackened iron, the Slaves to Darkness crush everything in their way, carrying out the twisted will of the Ruinous Powers.

Just a heads-up: the latest Warhammer mini of the month is up for grabs while supplies last, and from the looks of it, GW will be opening a unit box for the models, so you might not get the exact mini above.

New Warhammer 40k GW Collectible Coin For October 2024

Coin Promotion 2 mini of the month Warhammer free miniatureIn addition to a free miniature, there’s also a collectible coin up for grabs. This month’s collectible coin is all about Kill Team: Hivestorm, the launch box for the latest Kill Team edition, where Vespid Stingwings go head-to-head with Tempestus Aquilons beneath the looming Massif Ballistus. Grab yours while they’re still around—once they’re gone, they’re gone (but you will have to spend $100 to get it).

They will only be available while supplies last, which means you might be able to get a coin and the free mini, all in one trip. Either way, you’re looking at a $100 price tag for the coin, no matter how you slice it. Plus, if you’re itching to check out the full lineup of coins minted since 2020, we’ve got a handy checklist for you right here.

This month’s new free miniature and collectible coins offer is a great opportunity to visit your local Games Workshop store and bring a friend along.
