The new game really takes you back to a time when you didn’t need to know what 8 different buttons, two joysticks, and a D pad did. Ultramarine the Retro Game is a freeware classic 16 bit videogame inspired by the world of Warhammer 40K.
In this game you will play with Darius, a brave Ultramarine, fighting against different enemies through the Warhammer 40K universe; using different weapons and habilities.
This game was created using the software Arcade Game Studio. Check it out!
Some background tilesets were created by Carl Olsson. Ckeck out his pixel-art.

This game is definitely a lot of fun and Abel Alves did a great job at capturing the truly retro style feel in this game! It’s really easy to learn, but hard to master.
