It’s looking like the Games Workshop’s Tacoma Open could be the first big 10th Edition Warhammer 40k tournament.
We wrote another article about when the new edition could actually drop, and it’s looking like the end of June could easily be when the new edition becomes official.

The First 10th Edition Tournament Could be the Tacoma Open!
The tournament takes place from July 14 – July 16. If 10th Edition 40k does drop in late June, this would give players about three weeks to prepare for the new rules. Considering this is a GW event, it would make sense for them to make it the first 10th Edition tournament out there.
We would also hope they have plenty of people on hand who really have the new edition down to help with all the questions. While this seems to be a reasonable conclusion, GW actually put something in the player pack that really might highlight that this could be 10th Edition Warhammer 40k
If you look at the player pack, they don’t mention any editions, and more importantly, you use all rules published before July 7th. So in theory, if 10th edition does drop in June, that means this will be a 10th Edition tournament. Just something to think about!
