I went a little too hard on the grim dark. But I think I have a prototype. I’ve never done battle damage or dirt/grime on my minis before (kinda a lore thing, kinda an “I don’t wanna crap on my airbrush work” thing). But man. I don’t hate it.
Went too hard with the oil paint and mineral spirits and wore some of the acrylics off, but before I do them en masse I will do 2-3 clear coats. The sheen you see is from mineral spirits waiting to dry. I prefer all my minis with a coat of matte (talent in a bottle lol).
