GW 40k Previews Confirmed New Primaris Vehicles: RUMORS

primaris book cover hor space marine walThe GW 9th Edition 40k previews revealed new Primaris units, but they also may have confirmed the rest of those primaris vehicles rumors as well.

We’ve got a fresh new batch of Necron and Primaris models on the way in 9th Edition. However, focusing on the new Primaris hotness, we could have already seen these guys months ago. We just thought that the picture could’ve been a clever hoax (which is still may be).

Do 9th Edition Previews Confirm mystery Primaris Vehicles?

primaris 9th edition previewSo here is the official Primaris picture that’s making a lot of folks think this will be the contents of the new 9th Edition Box Set on the way. We’ve got some Gravis models with what looks like melta cannons, some power sword Primaris in the front, Bikes in the back, etc. There are a few models out of this shot that look to fit almost perfectly with the mystery photo that the community-at-large thought was a hoax.

However, there were other units like some kind of Primaris Land Speeder, a Primaris Baal Predator-looking tank, etc. Well, now that we’ve seen some 9th Edition previews of new models, there are a few units that look to match up…

Oh wow, look at that. It’s almost an EXACT match-up from what was traced.

primaris new unitsLooking at the two new Primaris units sporting black power armor, there’s the Judiciar and some other dude that might just be an alternate Chaplain model. In either case, we know GW is focusing more on the characters in black armor so even if the mystery model isn’t either of these guys, it wouldn’t be surprising to see another character like these two drop.

With Confirmed Units In the Photos, Does That Mean Vehicles Are Legit Too?

primaris units rumor pic 1We’re not going to lie. We thought that these Land Speeder/Baal Predator-looking things were just some clever photoshopping skills. But now that we’ve got some Bike models with one matching up perfectly with 9th Edition previews, does that mean these other units are back on the table?

Well, this teaser by Warhammer Community for their 40k Box Set preview Saturday, may give some weight to the fact that new VEHICLES are indeed on the way for 40k:

We’ll be taking a closer look at Vehicles, monstrous creatures, blast weapons and terrain, as well as previewing rules from War of the Spider.

It wouldn’t surprise us if there was some kind of big vehicle release later down the line. Primaris are still severely lacking in the Jump Pack and Vehicle department.

What do you think about these two mystery photos? Would you like to see a Primaris’d version of a Baal Predator?
