GW Announces 3 Days of New Previews For Warhammer Fest 2023

They promised minis will get revealed for eight games, and we have at least an idea of what will be this time, thanks to so many recent reveals.

Let’s take a closer look at the upcoming preview from Warhammer Community for Warhammer Fest 2023!

Warhammer Fest Previews

The full launch box for the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 will be revealed at Warhammer Fest – but that’s just one of five (yep, FIVE!) separate live previews spread out over the weekend.

Others will cover Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Horus Heresy: Age of Darkness, Warhammer: The Old World, Warhammer Underworlds, Middle-earth™ Strategy Battle Game, Warcry, and Kill Team. Attendees can see these previews live in the auditorium*.

This is one of the first previews in a long time, spread over an entire weekend. This means each o the reveals might be giant, and there will be plenty to dive into. Eight games are promised for reveals, and we have an idea for at least a few of them.

However, there may be more details about whats happening with codex books, etc.

Warhammer The Old World Rumors

Warhammer Old World Square Base Size 5

Thanks again to the Warhammer: The Old World team! There’s plenty more to come from development diaries in the future – and you may just hear even more at Warhammer Fest, which kicks off on Saturday, the 29th of April.

This makes a lot of sense. As we assumed, if they showed 10th Edition 40k off at AdeptiCon, they would almost have to reveal Old World at Warhammer Fest. This would also line up perfectly with the current schedule. With 10th Edition 40k (most likely) dropping in late June, AoS is rumored to get a new edition in 2024.

Age of Sigmar

AOS battletome roadmap 2023

It’s at about this time that Warhammer Age of Sigmar fans start to wonder what the rest of the year looks like. We’ve prepared a roadmap for what’s coming in the next few months.

It would really make sense for them to finally release something for the Cities of Sigmar, as we’ve been seeing previews for months and months now, and it would line up perfectly with the current roadmap. Check out all the previews here.
