Don’t miss all the new releases that GW just confirmed next for Warhammer 40k ncluding Sisters, Psychic Awakening, and new start collecting boxes.
Warhammer Community just let us in on the release lineup that goes up on preorder November 16th. If you enjoy Sisters of Battle or Chaos Space marines this is a great week for you! There will also be a new faction release for Beastgrave
Next week’s Warhammer Underworlds releases will be arriving in stores on November the 23rd, as normal.
However, next week’s pre-orders for the 41st Millennium – that’s Faith & Fury, the new Chaos Sorcerer, new Start Collecting! sets and of course, the Sisters of Battle Army Set, will be on shelves after 2 weeks – that’s November the 29th, or Black Friday.
Sisters of Battle Army Box
One of the most anticipated releases of 2019 looks to be the Sisters of Battle Army Set. While we’ve already gotten an official word at what’s inside the box, it looks to be weighing in at $210 according to these rumors. Surprisingly, if these rumors are true it looks like this is the only Sisters release we’re seeing for the near future!
People that buy this might be sitting with under a thousand points of new Sisters for a while with no other releases in sight for 2019. If you’re dying to know what may be coming in the new Sisters of Battle 40k army box for this holiday season, we have that for you too here.
That’s a total of 25 brand-new miniatures, the Adepta Sororitas codex (with exclusive cover art), datacards and dice – all in one box!
The long-anticipated plastic Sisters of Battle are here! We’ve been hearing about them for months so this is a long-awaited release that’s sure to get a lot of people excited. The exclusive art on the code, dice, and data cards are also great additions to make the release even more exciting,
New Chaos Marine Sorceror
Standard model update here, but a cool thing to note is just how much this guy mirrors his librarian counterpart now!
Start Collecting
There are also two new Start Collecting! sets on their way – one of Vanguard Space Marines and the other of Chaos Space Marines –comprising the two halves of the Warhammer 40,000: Shadowspear battlebox.
Psychic Awakening: Faith & Fury
It then presents a host of new rules for the Space Marines – including a codex expansion’s worth of rules for the storied Black Templars Chapter – and loads of awesome new content for the story’s antagonists, the Heretic Astartes.
Based on this and the previous book we can assume that the Black Templars will get a pretty sizable update with all the chaos legions getting smaller focus updates. Not to mention massive plot advancement!
While supplies last if you pre-order a physical copy of Faith & Fury you’ll get some sweet data cards for Helbrecht, Chaplain Grimaldus, Cenobyte Servitors, a Crusader Squad and a Chaos Sorcerer!
It appears that the rumors of Templars getting their rules in Faith & Fury may have some merit after seeing these data card previews.
Beastgrave Releases
This new Warband expansion set includes three push-fit models in colored plastic,* while fighter cards let you keep track of them in-game. 32 Warband-specific cards (including objectives, upgrades, and ploys) will enable you to harness the unique tactics of Rippa’s Snarlfangs. Meanwhile, 28 Universal cards give you new options for customizing your deck, whichever Warhammer Underworlds Warband you play.
And of course the standard set of accessories to go with the shiny new Warband if you want them!
This set is a gift pack that comes with a bunch of cards that haven’t been available since Shadespire’s release (about 30 of them) and a nifty play mat for tokens and cards to help keep ourself organized while playing.
Two warbands in one? What’s not to love? Champions of Dreadfane gives you the opportunity to add Lady Harrow’s Mournflight and Ironsoul’s Condemnors to your Warband collections, both of which were previously only available in the Warhammer Underworlds: Dreadfane set.
These warbands also come with all of their assorted objective and power cards respectively.
Of course, you can also get their respective sleeves to match!
Black Library
You’ll be able to pre-order loads of books next week too, including the Limited Edition of book three in the Siege of Terra series, The First Wall by Gav Thorpe, as well as the paperback of The Solar War.
There’s also a new Sisters of Battle novel by Rachel Harrison called Mark of Faith coming in hardback, eBook and Special Edition formats, alongside James Swallow’s classic Adepta Sororitas story Hammer & Anvil as an MP3 audiobook.
Add in a paperback omnibus of tyranid-themed tales, The Great Devourer: The Leviathan Omnibus, and it’s a good week for all Warhammer fiction fans!
Are you excited about the new Sisters of Battle set? Or are you more excited for Faith & Fury? Maybe you’re just excited to explore another space of the universe with the Black Library releases?
