Wow Games Workshop just confirmed there will be new Ynnari Stratagems, Warlord Traits, Relics of Ynnead, and psychic powers in the May White Dwarf
Warhammer Community just gave a confirmed word about the Ynnari Index that’ll be making its way into the player’s hands via May White Dwarf. Check out what we’ve seen so far on top of the latest updates!
Ynnari Index First Spotted on Back of White Dwarf
Spotted on Reddit, a picture of April’s White Dwarf showcasing the Ynnari index preview first surfaced! How much of a “shake-up” will these Aeldari get?
The most iconic Ynnari characters were seen standing in front of some Death Guard as the next faction to get support. It looks like GW decided not to give them a codex, however. Quite frankly, some would say they are already powerful enough to not even need a codex!
Sean Nayden’s Earlier Ynnari List from LVO
Coming from the 2019 LVO, this is the list that Sean Nayden used to climb up to the top tables. The Yncarne and Yvraine are the two most popular characters we’ve steadily been seeing across all Ynnari lists. So could GW be reworking them to not always make them auto-includes? How do you think this list will change once the index drops?
17 Stratagems, Relics, Warlord Traits, Psychic Powers & More In WD
Of course, no Index would be complete without shiny new rules, so you’ll also be treated to new datasheets for the three aforementioned characters and 17 powerful Stratagems, as well as 6 each of the following: Warlord Traits, Relics of Ynnead, Tactical Objectives and psychic powers from the Revenant discipline.
With a ton of stratagems on the way along with warlord traits, psychic powers, and relics, Ynnari are shaping up to become even more powerful. But with that said, will Soulburst get nerfed or just reworked? Could there be new units lurking in the pages? This is all a grey area right now. At face value, this news is great for any potentially new Ynnari players as now they will be able to access the rules after GW declared the Index books from 2017 dead!
However, we think that it’ll mirror the layout of other White Dwarf indexes spotted earlier in the year.
Crimson Fist Support in White Dwarf
All in all, we’ll probably be seeing a lot more Ynnari lists sprout up on the tables in the weeks ahead. Will Ynnari have enough to be a standalone faction or will they still need to be part of the Eldar soup? Let us know what you think in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
