It’s time to pay respects dozens of 40k models that just hit their final resting place. A bunch of older minis just got moved to Warhammer Legends.
Warhammer Community just announced the updated page of all the units across the factions that made it to Warhammer Legends. When Warhammer Legends was first introduced, GW was going easy on us only putting a Chaplain on a Bike and an Imperial Marine. However, this go-round there is more, lots more…
The Warhammer 40,000 Legends page contains datasheets and additional wargear options, definitive profiles that will live on their own dedicated page, enabling you to unleash your treasured classics in open, narrative and matched play games, with full points provided to help you balance your games.
Our Minis Aren’t Immortal: More Units Hit Warhammer Legends
Gw hit us with a pretty big announcement with a bunch of older units hitting the grave. While you can still play them in any kind of game mode, they won’t ever be going back and showing further support/points changes for updates to come. Whatever hits Legends will be what they have for the rest of time.
So what got changed? While there are so many changes that took place and across every faction, we recommend that you go and look at what bit the dust for your faction on your own. As for the main highlights:
- Every character on a Bike, Space Marines, Orks, Etc.
- Land Raider Excelsior and Rhino Primaris
- Non-Primaris versions of newly-updated Primaris characters
- Big Gunz & Big Meks for Orks
- The Entire Legion of the Damned
- Uriah & Kyrinov For the Adeptus Soroitas
- Rough Riders
This might have taken some of you by surprise and may seem heavy-handed, but all these cullings might be pointing to what’s ahead for the future. With White Scars trademark thing being Bikes, yet all of the Biked-up characters getting killed off, we may see a rebirth of a newly-designed mount that’ll make more sense/look better. Nothing is confirmed here, we are just looking to the possible silver lining.
What are your thoughts on GW killing off this many units with the snap of their fingers? Will you continue to play the units inside Warhammer Legends?
