GW just revealed the new Priamris Space Marine Gladiator Tank sprue that’s coming in the new kit soon! Check it out.
The Gladiator was officially revealed some time ago, but now the upgrade kit has been spotted on Warhammer Community! If you’ve been looking for even more shooty death, this can have all the guns! Basically, this is a floating gunship that fills the Heavy Support role for the Primaris. Let’s check it out!
The Rumors Were True: New Space Marines Gladiator Tank!
Now, the Primaris Space Marines have a battle tank with the versatility, reliability and firepower of this venerable stalwart of the Chapter armoury – and some brand-new upgrades. Meet the Gladiator.
Starting off before the model we get a neat little concept art piece. Each of the weapons pointed out is actually changeable, so let’s look into those.
Based on the chassis of the Impulsor, the Gladiator is a fast, flexible battle tank that provides deadly fire support in any chosen flavour you wish.
Space Marine Gladiator Tank Sprue & Variants Spotted!
Like with the newer Primaris tanks, this one uses Repulsor Field technology to glide around the battlefield, with no tracks like those other scrub tanks!
A quick comparison of the number of guns these bad boys can take! Just look at the poor Rhino with nothing… At least it can still carry around Marines, so that’s something. There are three variants of the Gladiator tank, so you can decide what type of firepower you need the most.
Reaper Pattern:
The Reaper’s twin heavy onslaught Gatling cannon and pair of tempest bolters offer this Gladiator variant a level of infantry-shredding firepower that is unrivaled by anything short of a super-heavy battle tank!
Valiant Pattern:
The Valiant pattern, meanwhile, is the most aggressive of the three variants, specializing in close-range, heavy fire support. It can bring down even the largest vehicle or monster with a single, devastating salvo of its twin las-talon and sponson-mounted multi-meltas.
Lancer Pattern:
Finally, the Lancer pattern boasts the longest range of the Gladiators, granting it the luxury of effortlessly blasting apart armored prey from extreme range with its bespoke Lancer laser destroyer.
The Sprue:
The main event of the evening! So it looks like you’ll get the Impulsor kit with this sprue on top. Nothing crazy, but this will allow you to unlock the Gladiator tank.
If you already have the tank and want to upgrade it, these are some great alternative kits out there right now that you can buy to upgrade your with your Impulsor into a Gladiator!
