Big reveals hit over the weekend at the Blood & Glory event. Check out the latest 40k teasers from Games Workshop for Sisters, Chaos, Necromunda and more!
Spotted on Warhammer 40,000’s Facebook page, they made a short, sweet post that teasers were coming over the weekend. While no specifics were given, they did drop a visual hint.
Your faith will soon be rewarded. Be vigilant!

GW Previews New 40k Sisters of Battle Models & Vehicles
These have been collected from various forums and websites like Dakka Dakka, and Miniwars. They may not be the original source.
First off this sprue seems to show multiple figures (including the penitent engine) all on the same sprue akin to something like the Dark Imperium or Shadowspear starter. It does not appear to be separate multipart component sprues inside the army box (at least for these models). While they do not appear to be the push peg style of ETB miniatures (like Warhammer Underworlds etc), they certainly are not normal multi-part kits.
We can probably make two conclusions from this.
- This may explain why the Army box is rumored to be “only” be priced at $210, which includes at codex and data cards, when other sets like Blood of the Phoneix were $230 and contained no supplements or accessories but were multipart component kits.
- It may also explain why no other Sisters models are releasing around the same time (according to rumors). This may have been the fastest path to market for the Sisters Games Workshop could muster in time for the holidays.
Either way, the models look great, and hobbyists will be able to get started this year on their armies! Painted versions of what appear to be the models on this sprue were also spotted.
New Immolator & Excorcist Previews
Warhammer Community teased the new models at the Blood & Glory event late Saturday, November 2nd.
First, it was the Rhino, and now we have some very ornate shrine type heavy hitters for the Sisters of Battle.
Of course, a Psychic Awakening means witches – lots and lots of witches. Looks like the Adepta Sororitas will need some armoured support…
Have you ever seen such magnificent tanks? Did you think for a moment that we’d mess with the classic (and gloriously over the top) design of the Exorcist? With new plastic moulding technology, we’ve been able to give these tanks an exquisite level of detail, really underlining their place not just as weapons of war but as mobile shrines for the Adepta Sororitas.
These cruising chapels of carnage will be available next year, so keep the faith!
From the teaser images and video, it looks like this kit is a complete re-design of the rhino pictured above with two new top builds for the Immolator and Exorcist respectively:

So it appears that the full Sisters of Battle release will be happening sometime in 2020, as we approach the 2-year mark from their initial announcement at Adepticon 2018.

New Plastic 40k Necromunda Dark Uprising Terrain SPOTTED!
The new terrain was just spotted from what we assume is the Blood and Glory event. Coming from the Instagram account of gfromthewarp this terrain is really starting to stand out from previous kits:

The stairs look made to slide beveled bases under so figures can be placed on steps easily!
Two different styles of weathering denote the gap in floor plates.
So from these images, it becomes a little easier to see that the floor is indeed plastic, and appears to be in 1 foot by 1-foot squares, with all sorts of modular components abound.
This is probably the best look at the terrain yet, as the flooring is visible as plastic, and the components look modular, perhaps even “lockable” in nature with the decking?
Painted set starter set on top of a shelf with an unpainted set. From this, (and taking into account the GW official preview image above) it may be entirely possible that the starter set does not come with the plastic flooring panels. If that is the case we may not see these kits for sale separately until after the new year.

GW Confirms New Mephiston Model In 40k Teaser
Warhammer Community teased what may be a new Primaris version of Mephiston at the Blood & Glory event late Saturday, November 2nd.
Lastly, we’ve got a look at the next character joining the Psychic Awakening…
Hers some images from the preview that show the unmistakable profile of Mephiston, Lord of Death:
The only question remains is whether he has crossed the rubicon, and become Primaris like so many before him as well.

He also looks to be “rising” November 30th which could indicate a street date of December 7th, and seems to confirm the above-rumored pricing and release lineup.
Fun fact of the day, before he became the Lord of Death, Mephiston was just simply Brother Calistarius.

GW’s Psychic Awakening Preview:
Warhammer Community confirmed the new supplement and more at the Blood & Glory event late Saturday, November 2nd.
In the 41st Millennium, things are getting intense. We’ve got characters new and old joining the fray, the hotly anticipated arrival of the Sisters of Battle, and of course the ongoing saga of the Psychic Awakening. With Phoenix Rising now on shelves, this epic conflict has officially begun – and we’re just getting started. The next book in the series sees us turn to the Imperium and their chaotic enemies in Faith & Fury.
This tome will see the Psychic Awakening’s effects begin to take hold in the Imperium, as the Emperor’s most faithful warriors go head to head with the Heretic Astartes. What’s more, the book will include codex supplement-tier content for the Black Templars, Night Lords, Alpha Legion, World Eaters, Emperor’s Children, Iron Warriors and Word Bearers.
So per the symbols on their teaser, it looks like we’ll be getting updates for the remainder of the traitor legions sans Black Legion (updated in Vigilus) and the two with existing Chaos supplements; Thousand Sons, and Death Gaurd respectively.
Plus another recent rumor looks to be confirmed as Chaos is indeed getting a new Sorceror model that was the subject of a Rumor Engine many, many months ago…
Combining visual touches from classic Chaos Sorcerer models with the aesthetic of the new Heretic Astartes, this malevolent mage will be the ideal leader for your forces in the battles to come.
Black Friday Releases For Faith & Fury
We had heard rumors of a Black Templars starter box that may be on the way recently. However, from these previews, It looks like the only box set for this release may be a new Chaos Sorceror and the Sisters of Battle Army Box. Which is further supported the recent release sheet leak.
Coming from @wagamingdave, it looks like some sort of pricing has been revealed for what’s ahead. Just as much as the products themselves are rumors, so are the prices. However, going off of what some of the more recent GW releases have been, these price points may be surprisingly accurate.
16 New Chaos Slaves To Darkness Models
In an interesting path to market on Games Workshop’s part, 16 new models are going to be coming first in a bundle that looks to be replacing the current Slaves to Darkness Start Collecting box.

First up, new Chaos Warriors! As old as Warhammer itself, Chaos Warriors have inspired countless hobbyists to start wargaming. We’ve not messed with their iconic aesthetic, instead giving them some dynamic new poses that’ll look right at home on the front lines of your Chaos army.

And last (but certainly not least) is a new Chaos Lord on a lizard of some origin making 16 new models…
Lastly, we’ve got a monster-mounted (and massive) Chaos Lord. This huge model (seriously, he’s big) is a dark mirror to the Lord Celestant on Dracoth and a truly terrifying combatant, ideal for spearheading your assaults on the pathetic kingdoms of the Storm God…
Look for a new Battletome that combines the forces of the Everchosen, and Warcry into one massive tome of Chaos.
Battletome: Slaves to Darkness forges this much-loved army into a force worthy of the Age of Sigmar. The scope of this book is vast. If you’ve been collecting Warcry warbands, you’ll be able to field a diverse barbarian horde made up of tribes from across the realms.
Alternatively, you could field an elite army led by Archaon and the Everchosen – or countless other possible combinations. With sub-factions, new lore, rules and more, this book is an incredible resource for any Chaos fan.
