GW’s New 40k MTO Models & Books For This Week!

gw mto new releasesTwo MTO models plus some 40k campaign books have hit online shelves! Don’t miss a look at the new models and books that are available this week.

Just like usual MTO, these two models will only be up for a limited time, so if you want them, make sure you order them. Among the other previews we got, these, and the books, are technically the only new releases this week as GW’s retail and fulfillment departments are still closed indefinitely.

GWs Two New MTO Models: Librarian & Sister of Battle

You thought Lieutenant Amulius was the only exclusive Made to Order hero you’d see during lockdown? Think again… and then think one more time – we’ve got not one, but TWO more exclusive models up for order for the next two weeks!

Lexicanum Varus, Terminator Librarian $35

Two more MTO models are on the way that you can reserve for yourself RIGHT NOW. We first saw this Terminator Librarian revealed to be coming in the Adepticon event. However, since that’s been canceled GW is rolling him out as an MTO model.

Sister Tariana Palos $35

sister of battle MTO 1

In the same boat, we’ve got a new Sister of Battle MTO model as well. She’ll be acting like an unnamed Sister in-game that is perfectly fit for being the leader of a unit and she’ll also be made on-demand.

Sister Tariana Palos is a brand-new, never-before-seen model based on a classic piece of Anna Steinbauer artwork that graced the cover of a previous edition of Codex: Adepta Sororitas. She is every bit the archetype of a Battle Sister, perfect for use in your army, perhaps as a Superior or a Celestian. She’s also festooned with holy detailing, making her an ideal painting project.

The War Zone: Damocles books (Kauyon and Mont’ka)

Tau books

Pit the T’au Empire against a massive army of the Imperium including White Scars, Raven Guard, Imperial Knights, and Astra Militarum, in a winner-takes-system slugfest.

These are books from the old edition for 40k rules wise, however, the stories are the ones that are directly before the Psychic awakening. If you are a lore hound, these may still be worth picking up!

Sanctus Reach (Red Waaagh & Hour of the Wolf)

Sanctus reach

These books involve not only Orks and Space Wolves – but also Imperial Knights, the Astra Militarum and even the Daemonic hosts of Khorne. Of course, the truly massive Ork Waaagh! is merely a vanguard to a much larger one that was even then coalescing to ravage the galaxy…

Once again, the rules in these books are completely outdated. However, if you are interested in the story leading up to psychic awakening, then it may be worth picking up.

Drachenfels: WH Horror

Drachenfels audio book

Check the Black Library Audio app tomorrow to pick up Kim Newman’s classic Drachenfels, unabridged and fully narrated. This legendary spine-tingler from the late 1980s was the first Warhammer Horror book well before we put together a whole range of them.

There’s also a great opportunity on Amazon for the book. If you haven’t tried Audible yet you can use the free trial and listen to Drachenfels on their dime!

Valdor Birth of the imperium hcConstantin Valdor. It is a name that brings forth images of heroism, honour and peerless duty. For it is he who commands the will of the Legio Custodes that most esteemed and dedicated cadre of elite warriors. He is the Emperor’s sword, His shield, His banner and he knows no equal. Clad in shining auramite, his fist clenched around the haft of his Guardian Spear, he is the bulwark against all enemies of the throne, within or without.

At the time of writing this, you’ve got about 16 hours to order the Hardcover version and have it shipped next week. It’s being printed-on-demand currently so make sure you decide if you want this book!

Daemonifuge 20th Anniversary Edition

Ephrael Stern – Sister of Battle – Daemonifuge! Tainted soul or living weapon against the dark forces of Chaos? Under investigation by the Inquisition, Ephrael Stern and the Inquisitor Silas Hand must place their trust in each other as they embark on a dangerous quest to discover the origins of her power.

Don’t forget you can pre-order your copy of the Daemonifuge as well to get caught up on what may be happening in Psychic Awakening: Pariah.
