HOBBY ALERT: List of 40k & AoS Products That Are Being Discontinued

games-workshop-discontinuedDon’t miss which 40k and AoS products will be disappearing from store shelves in January, and GW just send retailers a list of discontinued products for 2020.

From time to time Games Workshop will remove products from their trade line that independent retailers can order, and put them on the “web exclusive”  list or just discontinue them alltogether. You may have heard this referred to as “Direct”, or “Mail Order Only” from your local store. Either way, they end up costing retailers more to bring in special order, and generally will only be found on GW’s site now.

gw direct order exclusiveCurrently, there looks to be about 800 of these items on GW’s site for sale right now, and from there they may end up on last chance to buy, or continue on as avaialbe to order for some time.

The latest round of discontinued items seems to run the gamut from Start Collecting to 40k, and even AoS.

Here are the items multiple retailers confirmed to Spikey Bits as eligible for return to GW. Presumably, these items will make the move to direct order or just be discontinued altogether.
