Today we are going to take a look at the all-new Chevy Impulsor one of the toughest longest-lasting, full-size grav-tanks on the battlefield today!
All jokes aside, today we are going to take a look at what may be the Rhino’s replacement, and give you the rundown on assembly and show you how to magnetize this new model so you can get the most out of your new tank and future-proof your purchase.

The kit comprises 108 components and included all of the Impulsor’s weapons and wargear options. The model comes supplied with a Citadel 100mm round base and clear hover stand upon which to mount it, as well as an Ultramarines Vehicle Transfer Sheet.

As far as instructions for the basic chassis for the new Impulsor tank kit is pretty straight forward. Where it gets a little tricky is when you start looking at some of the weapons options. Some of which will require some magnets/ tin plates to swap out. If you are looking for magnets for this project don’t forget our friends at The Magnet Baron.
You will need the following:
- four 1/4″x 1/16″ magnets
- one 1/8″x 1/16″ magnet
- small strips of tin (two 1/8″ square, and two 1/8″ x 5/8″ long)

So if you do everything right you are looking at an hour to an hour and a half build on this new kit with magnets. This is a great model for anyone new to magnetizing minis who are looking to get the most out of their purchases. Here is the new Impulsor Transport beside his big brother the Primaris Repulsor Tank. The Impulsor may be smaller but isn’t lacking in detail.
If you are looking for a potentially better way to get your Primaris Marines across the battlefield this new tank is the way to go.
