As the Chief Librarian of the Blood Angels, Mephiston is a formidable psyker, though he is equally at home cutting down the enemies of the Emperor with his force sword, Vitarus, or the searing beams of his plasma pistol. Mephiston can be assembled aiming his pistol with his right hand, or wiping his mouth on the back of his gauntlet – could he even be wiping the blood from his fangs?
This 16-piece plastic set makes one Mephiston, Lord of Death, and is supplied with one 40mm Citadel Round Base.
One of the best things about this new Mewphiston is the fact that you are not stuck with just one pose! This miniature actually has two ways to build this miniature. Whether you choose his stuffy nose or his Plasma pistol pose it is always great to have options.
The instructions on this miniature read well but the cape has a lot of parts that might lead to the need for some Tamiya thin Plastic Glue or Vallejo Plastic Putty to fill some gaps. One of the major downsides of this mini is that one foot is molded onto the terrain feature part of the scenic base. This isn’t too bad if you are a seasoned hobbyist and want to trim it off but, we will leave that up to you.
Here he is folks! No matter how you slice it this new rendition of Mephiston looks great and is going to be a staple to any Blood Angels Army.
As always, keep those hobby muscles strong, stay in the trenches, and check out our video below!
