New Blood Bowl, Necromunda, Warhammer Old World Pre-Order Revealed By Games Workshop
Games Workshop has just revealed its next lineup of new releases for tons of specialist games, along with Black Library books, which will all be available for pre-order this week. From Blood Bowl to Necromunda and even Warhammer Old World, this pre-order has a little something for everyone—whether you’re here to play some unique game systems or want to hobby on some new models.
Here are all the details for these latest new releases, which will be available to pre-order with your favorite retailers on Saturday, September 28th, around 1 p.m. EST in the States, with a release date of October 12th, 2024.
New Warhammer The Old World Pre-Orders
Gather ’round and ready your wallets, because it’s time to revisit the fantasy, battle-scarred world of Warhammer: The Old World! Whether you’re a veteran warlord with a collection that could rival Emperor Karl Franz’s own or a fresh recruit eager to make your mark, this pre-order may be your golden ticket to glory.
Chaos Knights, Chariots, and More
A new wave of warriors from the Chaos Wastes are descending on the Old World. Led by powerful Chaos Knights and Chaos Chariots, they are followed by Marauder Horsemen and Chaos Hounds. Additionally, howling Marauders charge towards enemy lines while chanting praise to their Dark Gods. Each group of warriors even comes with a new sheet of Chaos transfers to improve their appearance under the watchful gaze of the gods.

Lady Haera in Sthenian-pattern Hunting Rig
After being forced to leave Hive Primus by Lady Credo and her rebellion, Lady Haera Helmawr found her brother Tamino at the gates of Hive Secundus. Together, they ventured into the Underhells to locate an ancient and formidable spyrer suit. Now, armed with the powerful Sthenian-pattern Hunting Rig, she navigates the halls of the Secundan Abyss, eliminating Malstrain genestealers and rogue gangs with her paired power spear and phase sword.
Hermiatus, The Second Son
The original Tech-Priest Biologis Hermiatus was a reckless tinkerer who released the first Genestealer into Hive Secundus. Although he was swiftly eliminated once his actions were discovered, a distorted version of his identity now lingers in the collective psychic consciousness of the Malstrain. This disturbing representation of Hermiatus now roams the Underhells under the command of the Malstrain Patriarch, manipulating Genestealer DNA in an effort to extend the contagion well beyond the limits of the Abyss.
Malstrain Coalescence
The Malstrain Coalescence is a terrifying creature found in the ruins of Hive Secundus. It is a powerful psychic champion for Malstrain gangs, capable of twisting reality with its unique Wyrd powers as it hovers above the rubble. It is known for its deadly psychic abilities that can tear poor gangers asunder.
Malstrain Alpha
The Malstrain Alpha is a formidable creature at the top of the Malstrain hierarchy, second only to the Patriarch. Survivors from the Secundan Abyss speak of its terrifying speed, monstrous strength, and razor-sharp claws. Its appearance is said to be so horrifying that most people cannot bear to look into its dark, alien eyes without their minds shattering.

Chaos Dwarfs have a long history of utilizing popular Star Players in Blood Bowl. Two current players are H’thark the Unstoppable, a powerful Bull Centaur known for causing significant damage to the pitchside property, and Zzharg Madeye, who is equipped with a blunderbuss that is supposedly only used for launching the ball.
Chaos Dwarfs Dice Set, Team Card Pack, and Pitch
The Chaos Dwarfs collection can be complemented with standard sets of dice, team cards, and a double-sided pitch featuring separate dugouts. The dice set includes seven bronze-colored dice with red pips, consisting of two regular six-sided dice, three Block dice, an eight-sided scatter die, and a 16-sided dice.

The rules for playing a Chaos Dwarfs team and their Star Players are detailed in Issue 18 of Spike! Journal, which also includes a variety of Blood Bowl content such as background lore, histories of famous teams, insightful columns, and rules for the new Wastelands league.
