New Space Marine or Guard? GW Rumor Engine SPOTTED!

gw rumor engineDon’t pull his finger, this is a rumor engine you have to see for yourself. Something big is coming to Warhammer 40k, but what faction will it be for?

Warhammer Community revealed another rumor engine showing what’s on the way to the tabletop. While they usually have something to do with 40k or AoS, it’s difficult to debunk which game it belongs to based on the bit alone. Take a closer look and tell us what you think!

This time around, however, there is a ton of possibilities!

New Space Marine or Guard? GW Rumor Engine SPOTTED!

rumor engine 1-7-2019Right away, we can see that it’s some kind of finger with binoculars. Your first thought may be Orks from all those muscles, but check this out:

ork nob fingerOrk have pretty pointy fingernails, so that may rule them out…

Maybe it’s a human hand? Catachans have a lot of meat on their frames.

However the sculpt of the finger doesn’t match up, and there is no bracer. But this was a sculpt from over 10 years ago, so perhaps the Guard did get an update…

Their Binoculars don’t look the same though.

However, their scanners don’t match up or the clasps on their strappings either.  Plus usually, Marines have armor on, just saying.  While that may or may not rule out a few factions, there are plenty more possibilities for sure like a newly updated character sculpt, etc.

Could this be an Ogryn or a new unit for Marines, Guard, or Ad Mech? Or was it the Filthy Xenos all along…
