The new Jump Pack Intercessors sprues might not be packed with an insane number of bits, but you won’t have to fiddle with flight stands.
While we saw the complete kits revealed, it’s always better to know what the sprues will actually contain. That way, you can start thinking about how to build your models and maybe convert them!

GW Reveals the Jump Pack Intercessors & Captain Sprues & Bits!
The new Jump Pack Intercessors and Captain sprues come from Warhammer Community.
It’s a testament to their ingenious design that the miniatures give a real sense of speed to what is essentially a solid mass of armour and fury, melding the brutally efficient Space Marine aesthetic with dynamic aerial poses.
The models are pretty cool and people have been hyped up for them for quite a long time now.
Most of the Intercessors are armed with the same chainsword and heavy bolt pistol as their terrestrial counterparts, while the Sergeant can trade in his standard armaments for a power weapon or fist, and a hand flamer or plasma pistol. Unlike regular Assault Intercessors, however, this skyborne squad can bring an extra plasma pistol along for the ride – perfect for a post-flight, pre-charge fusillade.
While they have been heavily anticipated, the new bits basically look like Assualt Intercessors with jump packs on. We were hoping for a little more in the sprues, but there doesn’t seem to be a considerable amount of bits here that are completely new.
Even details as small as their belt pouches have had a re-think – they’re now designed to attach right to the leg, rather than hang loosely off the belt. This makes grenades, ammo, and snacks far more accessible to a Space Marine soaring through the air, and the extra strap around the leg will keep them from flapping about mid-flight.
It is nice that they redesigned some of the packs and stuff to make them easier to customize. Plus it’s also cool you don’t have to fiddle with flight stands, and that should make transporting and building them a lot easier. And honestly, even though there aren’t many bits, the ones on here do look good.
New Captain With Jump Pack
The Captain comes with three options for both his ranged and melee weapons. The usual heavy bolt pistol and plasma pistol are joined for the first time by a hand flamer – previously available only to the Blood Angels and Deathwatch – while a choice of chainsword, power sword, or power fist gives the Captain great versatility against hordes and elites alike.
The new captain has a decent number of options for both melee and ranged weapons. Plus, this model looks fantastic, and all the bits look super detailed.
He also comes with helmeted and unhelmeted head options, but if you want to spice up your own Captain with alternative heads from across the Space Marine range, the universal socket makes it easy to change up your style. So don’t worry, Raven Guard players –your beakie helmetswill work just fine.
If you’re too cool for safety, you can go helmetless, but like most kits, this should work with almost any of the SM heads out there.
