Piety & Pain, Drukhari New Releases Pricing CONFIRMED!

Gw-new-release-piety-and-painThe Drukhari new releases are hitting shelves soon, as the confirmed pricing for all the Dark Eldar items and the Book of Rust is here!

More new releases are here from Games Workshop including the long-awaited Drukhari releases, the Book of Rust, a bunch of specialist games releases, and accessories!

There is also a high chance these will be allocated in North America, but that is not confirmed until we know more. If that’s true though, be sure to hope on what items you want fast!

Piety & Pain Battle Box $170.00

Piety and pain boxThis fantastic set includes two armies – Adepta Sororitas and Drukhari – alongside a 32-page campaign book packed with datasheets, missions, Crusade rules, and Theatre of War rules for urban arenas. There’s also the story behind the campaign, as Lelith Hesperax murders her way through Battle Sisters, which you can find out more about in our suitably grisly preview.

We’ve known the contents for a while now and even got a glimpse into some of the rules which you can check out here.

Piety and pain dark eldarThe Drukhari force is a swift Wych Cult warband led by the legendary duellist Lelith Hesperax. The stunning new plastic model of this beloved character is joined by ten Wyches, five winged Scourges, and a Venom.

Lelith’s updated model is in this set and she looks fantastic, if previous boxes are anything to go off of this will be the only way to get her for quite some time.

Piety and pain sisterThe Adepta Sororitas army includes five heavy-weapon toting Retributors with a pair of Armorium Cherubs, a heavily armoured Immolator, and a Palatine – a new hero with head and weapons options.

These Sisters of Battle are also getting their own new model in the Palatine, while she isn’t as exciting as a named character, she will most likely also be a timed exclusive for this box for a while.

Drukhari 9th Edition 40k Codex HB $50.00

codex drukhariThis book lets you use your collection of Kabals, Wych Cults, and Haemonculus Covens in realspace raids across tabletops everywhere. It has everything you’d expect from a codex – datasheets for the entire Drukhari range, extensive background, gorgeous art, army-wide abilities, a miniatures showcase, and, of course, bespoke Crusade rules for your xenos raiders. It’s simply a must-have for any fan of the Drukhari – and it includes a code to unlock all the rules from the book in Warhammer 40,000: The App.

The newest codex will be great for anyone thinking about trying them out or already has an army made from previous editions. The added bonus of getting a copy for the Warhammer app is nice, but using a physical book is always good too.

If you want to check out all the new Dark Eldar rules teasers we have seen already, we got you covered in this article here.

Drukhari Combat Patrol $140.00

drukhari combat patrolThis boxed set contains 18 plastic models, making up a force that’s perfect as an army for Combat Patrol-sized games or the start of a Crusade force. Top tip: adding the Drukhari half of Piety and Pain would be an awesome move. Combat Patrol: Drukhari is themed around the Kabals, with an Archon leading 10 Kabalite Warriors and five Incubi into battle. Every raid needs speed and firepower, and that’s where the Raider and Ravager come in.

This Combat Patrol is great, containing great models that the Drukhari are known for. Not to mention two vehicles to add to the carnage.

Drukhari Datacards $25.00

Datacards are a great option to help speed up the first games as you learn new rules, preventing you from flipping through pages and instead just using some small cards that you can separate for your game.

Drukhari Dice $35.00

Dice offer another way to pronounce your loyalty to the Drukhari.

Act 1: Book Of Rust – War Zone Charadon $60.00

war zone charadonAs well as the epic narrative, the book includes three codex supplements for the forge world Metalica, Imperial Knights House Raven, and the Drukhari Cult of Strife. There are also three Armies of Renown, forces which trade off restrictions in unit choices for additional benefits, including new Warlord Traits, Relics, Stratagems, and even Psychic Powers. The book includes Armies of Renown for the Adeptus Mechanicus, Death Guard, and Imperial Knights.

War Zone Charadon provides a brand new narrative option for anyone who is more interesting in the fluff side of 40k. There are also several pages of new rules for the featured factions so it may be worth checking out for that.

Lots of content headed our way in the new few weeks, question is will there be any value in it, or is it yet more paywall locked 40k 9th Edition rules?
