It looks like the Imperium might be getting a new model in the days ahead. Take a look at the Engineering spotted in this morning’s Rumor Engine.
Warhammer Community previewed the latest Rumor Engine this morning. At first glance, you can already tell that the bit looks like it’s something straight out of the Imperial factories. But what could it go to? We have some bold ideas.
If you missed last week’s Rumor Engine, check it out now.
Primaris Getting Transport? New GW Rumor Engine
The first thing that comes to mind is some kind of Imperial contraption. We thought it might’ve been some kind of Knight at first, but it looks like all of the Knights have been accounted for at this point. However, there’ve been some rumors swimming around the internet that are saying Primaris vehicles might be coming.
There’s talk of a Primaris flyer hitting the shelves as well as a small-unit transport designated for Primaris units.
We aren’t sure if they’ll just be popped into the schedule casually or come along with a big release. There are even more rumors of a second Space Marine Codex dropping sometime in 2019. If these rumors are true, we could be looking for new units around that time.
The bit does have some striking resemblances to a Rhino/Razorback. For starters, look at the vents near the top.
It looks like there’s a turret well near the top of the image just like the Razorback. So what are we suggesting this bit goes to? The Primaris transport of course! This might be the first snapshot we’ve seen since the rumor started.
If we ARE looking at the Primaris transport, it has a rounded hull and looks like it may not even have tracks. But that would fit the theme of the other Primaris vehicle, the Repulsor.
Did you catch something that we missed? Remember there aren’t any wrong answers until we see the whole model released.
