1st Place: Brett Perkins – Chaos Space Marines Army Lists
At the Fight for the Fallen GT, Brett’s Chaos Space Marines reminded everyone why the Heretic Astartes are some of the most feared warriors in the galaxy. With a roster of iconic characters, durable troops, and enough melee threats to make even the toughest opponents sweat, Brett’s list was a showcase of calculated chaos.
Let’s see how this renegade force carved its way to victory, leaving nothing but devastation in its wake.
Brett’s list was anchored by Abaddon the Despoiler, a model so iconic and powerful he might as well come with his own soundtrack. Abaddon didn’t just lead the charge—he embodied the raw, unrelenting fury of Chaos, bringing unmatched combat power and buffs that elevated the rest of the army.
Supporting him was Fabius Bile, the mad scientist of the Traitor Legions. Fabius brought a touch of healing and some unpredictable enhancements to the table, ensuring Brett’s army stayed in the fight longer and hit harder. Whether patching up elite troops or giving them a little extra “kick,” Fabius was the perfect complement to Abaddon’s brute strength.
Rounding out the leadership was Cypher, the enigmatic Lone Operative. With his ability to stay hidden while delivering precise ranged attacks, Cypher added a wildcard element to the list, keeping opponents guessing and covering key objectives with his signature flair for chaos.
Every Chaos Space Marine force needs some expendables, and Brett’s list delivered with a mob of Cultists. These cheap and cheerful units weren’t there to win fights—they were there to soak up wounds, clog up lanes, and hold objectives while the real threats got to work.
Adding some mobility and early-game armor were two Rhinos, ensuring Brett’s melee-heavy army could get into position quickly and safely. In an army filled with big names and terrifying elites, these humble transports played a crucial role in delivering the chaos where it was needed most.
Brett’s list leaned into the elite side of Chaos Space Marines with two units of Chosen and a unit of Possessed. The Chosen brought devastating melee power to the table, cutting through enemy lines with the kind of precision you’d expect from Chaos veterans. The Possessed, on the other hand, were pure, unrelenting brutality, using their mutated forms to smash through anything in their path.
For a touch of extra mobility, Brett included a unit of Warp Talons. These daemonic jump pack troops brought speed and aggression, perfect for hitting weak points in the enemy line or grabbing objectives that others couldn’t reach. Their ability to pin enemies in combat made them an essential part of the army’s toolkit.
To round out the list, Brett added some allies from Nurgle in the form of Plague Marines and Nurglings. The Plague Marines brought durability and resilience, perfect for holding the line or anchoring objectives. Meanwhile, the Nurglings added a touch of mischief, soaking up wounds and providing a cheap, expendable option for contesting the board.
2nd Place: Stephen Henry – Adeptus Custodes Army Lists
3rd Place: Joshua Campbell – Necrons Army Lists
Final Thoughts on Army Lists: Fight for the Fallen GT
Brett’s list was a masterclass in balance, synergy, and raw power. Abaddon and Fabius Bile ensured the army had both brute force and staying power, while Cypher added a layer of tactical finesse. The Cultists and Nurglings soaked up punishment, giving the Chosen, Possessed, and Warp Talons room to shine as they tore through enemy lines.
Whether it was holding objectives, overwhelming the enemy in melee, or using Cypher to disrupt plans from afar, every unit had a purpose and performed it flawlessly.
These top army lists from the Fight for the Fallen GT are a reminder that the Chaos Space Marines can win if built with every unit having a purpose, and every move is part of a grand strategy.
