RUMORS: 4 New 40k Kill Team Releases & Pariah Nexus Pricing

kill team box4 new 40k Kill Team releases, with pricing, are rumored to be coming soon along with the Pariah Nexus Starter set and Heavy Intercessors!

According to an industry insider, four new 40k Kill Team releases are on deck along with the Priah Nexus Starter Set, and we have pricing on all these items in Euros. Generally, there is no direct conversion rate, as GW charges more for their products in local currencies (a process known as Arbitrage).

Meaning it will be slightly more in USD than the exact conversion rate. So with a little detective work, we think we have prices pretty locked in for USD.

But be sure to keep in mind these are all rumors unit confirmed.

Kill Team Pariah Nexus Pricing $160

new kill team boxThe old boxes ran for $160, and good news for us, this seems to be staying the same price! But the older starter set did have much more impressive terrain, but at least it doesn’t have less terrain and cost more. The price in Euros is going to be €125, which would $151.38, but with arbitrage, the price always goes up a little.

We found other kits on the site for €125 and found a similar product, compared the prices and almost all were $160. So we’re pretty confident about that price.

That puts the value for this box right around $80. If you want to see the full value breakdown of the box, you can check it out here. But, if you’re like most people and just want the new minis, you can split this box with a fellow player and basically get the new minis for their normal price as most of the value comes in the way of all the additional accessories.

Let’s just hope you can find someone to split this with or sell the other side because these will be some expensive Flayed Ones (or Heavy Intercessors) if not!

4 More 40k Kill Team Releases & Pricing

Killzone Sector MechanicusFirst up is the Killzone: Sector Mechanicus. This box was pretty hot when it came out and is going for fairly high on the secondary market, upwards of $225. This is going for €80 and with a little work, this box seems like it will be priced at $100. We don’t know if the contents will be identical, but this did run for $80 last time it was released, so a decent price increase, but still less than the secondary market.

Monitorum hubAgain, this is €80 and the new price in USD looks like it will be $100. You can currently grab this on eBay for $225, so if you want it, line up early and be sure to grab it before it’s sold out and super expensive again.

Sector FronterisLast up is the Sector Fronteris that will also run for $100. This one is even really hard to find in the box on the secondary market, so we assume this will sell out in no time!

A New Book

kill team killzones BookWe think this book will be a compilation of all the Killzone rules into a single book. While we don’t know if each set will come with one of these and that’s why the price is higher now, or if this will only be a separate buy. You can get the book for €32.50 or $40. We’ll just have to wait and see how it comes out, but it would increase the value of the boxes if you get this in there instead of the smaller book.

What do you think about them rereleasing the old Killzones? Will you be picking any of them up?
