In most cases, it’s like assembling an all-star team right out of the gate, plus you can even play this box as is in smaller games of Warhammer 40k, aptly called “Combat Patrol” (get the rules here.)

Is it Worth It?
Of the newer CPs we’ve seen, this is actually on the higher end of value but still less than the 2022 version. However, you do get a pretty interesting and elite force. It also comes with one squad of new miniatures, but it looks like GW wants to release them as individual kits, as there is no army box.
So, if you want some of the new Warp Spiders, you basically get all the Dire Avengers for free, so this is an interesting box! Plus, while some of the newer 10th Edition Combat Patrols have been underwhelming (compared to 9th edition boxes), this one has more value than the previous few we’ve seen.
How Many Points Is This?
In Warhammer 40k 10th edition, the new Aeldari Combat Patrol hits with about 500 points. But, as you know, the tides of the Grimdark universe are ever-shifting, and with the latest points updates, that number could quickly fluctuate.

What to Buy Next?
Well, you have a lot of Dire Avengers in the box, but you still need to pick a path from here. Plus, you need at least a few vehicles, and with the new Phoenix Lords out, you’ll probably want those too! So, while this box is a great starting point, it is only 500ish points, meaning you’ll still have the vast majority of your army to collect.
