3rd Place: Sam Nash – Astra Militarum
2nd Place: Nassim Fouchane – Astra Militarum
1st Place: Vik Vijay – Sisters of Battle
Vik’s winning Sisters of Battle were led by a Canoness for re-rolls, Celestine for a fantastic durable melee threat with mobility, and the Triumph of Saint Katherine for her unique relics ability. A simple unit of 10 Battle Sisters provided some standard bodies, while the units of 10 Flagellants went all in on the melee.
Next is mobility with 15 Seraphim and 15 Zephyrim, plus two units of Crusaders to help round out points with some efficient melee models.
Three Castigators bring in some serious ranged firepower, while an Immolator focuses on AP, and two Rhinos provide some transportation for the early turns.
Once again the Oxford Super Major has provided an opportunity for Warhammer 40k players to learn from the best. The first-place army, led by Vik Vijay’s Sisters of Battle, featured a combination of mobility, melee combat, and ranged firepower. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, studying these top-finishing army lists can help you unlock victory in your own games of 10th Edition.
