Michael’s Custodes were led by two Captains with one on a Dawneagle Jetbike. Both are extremely durable, but they also give you rerolls of 1 for hit rolls to nearby troops- not just core (for now). The Jetbike is also a huge boost to mobility. Troops bring in 9 Custodians, who each allow for some more bodies to take advantage of rerolls while being pretty elite and dense compared to other faction’s options.

Elites start with two variants of Contemptor Dreads, one with a melee focus and one with a ranged option. The Dreads bring in large models that can do both melee and shooting while being durable threats that are hard to take down. Overall they are great models that usually get their points worth back if they aren’t focus fired. There are also a squad of Prosecutors, which offer some decent anti-psychic options without costing too many points.

Fast Attacks add in 9 Venatari Custodians to the list. The Venatari serve as the mobile forces, adding some fast threats that can be anywhere you need them. Then closing out the list is a Telemon Heavy Dread, which is similar to the other Dreads, but offers a more durable body and much harder hitting weapons.

What do you think about all three of these most recent lists? Do you like seeing the Custodes do well?
