GW wants you to embark on an epic journey with Sir Cecil Gastonne as he faces the monstrous threats of Warhammer the Old World.

In the majestic lands of Bretonnia, noble lords and ladies take their roles as protectors of the realm very seriously. Sure, they could spend their days lounging in opulent castles and sipping fine wine, but that’s not their style. These warriors of the Old World are raised to stand between the innocent and whatever monstrous threat comes crashing through the countryside.

And when it comes to dragon-slaying, Sir Cecil Gastonne is the man for the job. Games Workshop finally unveiled his upcoming miniature and it looks great!

A Noble with a Monstrous Talent

Sir Cecil Gastonne is no ordinary Bretonnian lord. Beneath his perfectly groomed mustache lies the grit of a seasoned monster hunter. Known far and wide as “The Wyrm Slayer,” he earned his legendary title by taking down Norndrak the Tyrant, a dragon so fearsome its name alone sends shivers down the spines of Old World adventurers.

Using the fallen dragon’s scales, Gastonne crafted the iconic Dragonhide Cloak, a garment that’s equal parts practical and stylish. This cloak offers its wearer protection against fire and armor-piercing attacks, making Sir Cecil as tough as the monsters he slays.

A Hero of the People

Sir Cecil’s exploits have made him a household name throughout Bretonnia. Wherever he goes, tales of his courage follow. His larger-than-life reputation inspires both fear in his enemies and pride in his countrymen.

Unlike many Bretonnian lords who prefer the saddle, Sir Cecil is known for fighting on foot. This makes him a natural leader for regiments of Foot Knights, rallying his troops as horseback lords thunder across the battlefield.

The Legend Continues

Sir Cecil Gastonne isn’t just a dragon slayer; he’s a symbol of Bretonnian valor. With his Dragonhide Cloak and trusty axe, he’s a force to be reckoned with, leading his Foot Knights to victory while striking fear into the hearts of his enemies. Keep an eye out for his upcoming release—this legendary hero is ready to take his place on the battlefield, and you won’t want to miss it.
