This is the rogue trader era “Imperial Assassin” of which there were several pretty neat looking models for their time.
Today we have figures for four different assassin temples (as seen above), all of which fulfill important battlefield roles.
I loved this figure when it first came out, mostly because it reminded me of the Gi Joe figure Stormshadow form the early 80’s.
Hey even Games Workshop had to get their ideas from somewhere right, wouldn’t it be cool if he was the basis for this figure?
